Start with towel-dried, detangled hair and apply heat protectant. Divide the hair into manageable sections. Glide the straight edge from roots to ends for a straighter finish, or use the curved edge to add lift, bends and flicks. Choose a suitable heat and speed for your hair, minimise repeated passes and finish with the cold setting if desired.
